Ministry of Roads Transport & Highway (MoRTH) has invited bids for rehabilitation & upgradation of NH-18 to two-lane at Pileru to Rayachoty section. Bids have been invited for rehabilitation and upgradation of NH-18 from km 57.0 to 108.850 of Pileru to Rayachoty section to two-lane with paved shoulders including four laning in 1.45 km (km 57.250 to 57.800; km 65.700 to 66.300; km 83.450 to 83.700) in Pileru, Vidya Nagar, Kalakada Town sections in the state of Andhra Pradesh, under corridor approach, on EPC mode (aggregate length of 51.850 km). The project is worth Rs 135.54 crore. It has a completion period of 24 months.
