Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) has won contracts of Rs 942 Cr from the Bhabha Atomic Research Corporation (BARC). HCC will construct the first phase of Integrated Nuclear Recycle Plant.
HCC will look after the construction of the fuel processing plant, lab building, disposable material block along with in-situ fabricated stainless steel tanks and liners and electromechanical works.
The company also said to complete the project located at coastal town of Tarapur in the next 36 months.
This project is part of the first phase of Integrated Nuclear Recycle Plant being built to process spent fuel from upcoming nuclear power plants.
