Distributed solar energy provider Vivint Solar and construction firm Brahma Group have entered into an agreement for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of solar energy projects for commercial and industrial businesses and organizations across the US. Vivint Solar is responsible for financing, sales, and related services for the new commercial and industrial projects. Brahma Group and its partner Hunt Electric will take on the construction and engineering of the projects.
“Aligning ourselves with Brahma Group is an important step for Vivint Solar and marks one of the several key strategic relationships that Vivint Solar is involved with as we expand into the commercial and industrial market,” said Jan Newman, Vice President of Business Development at Vivint Solar. “We are excited about doing business with Brahma as we enter this new market and we are confident that their experience will help us provide the best services to our commercial and industrial customers.”
“Brahma Group and our strategic partner, Hunt Electric, are thrilled to team with Vivint Solar on this significant entry into the commercial and industrial market,” said Rob Fox, Vice President of Brahma Group. “For months we have worked with Vivint Solar to formulate a plan for mass deployment into this key market space. We have found Vivint Solar’s approach to deployment in this market to be both calculated and innovative. It is not simply content to be a high volume installer. Instead, we have seen its innovation derive from an unwavering commitment to its customers, and an overriding commitment to the advancement of renewable energy in this country.”
