MCHI CREDAI and EXFAQ Systems launch Green Mumbai initiative

Over 1000 trees and plants were planted below the metro rail line near Azad Nagar Station at Andheri by senior members from builders and developers community got together under MCHI CREDAI to launch its Green Mumbai initiative. Ashish Shelar, MLA President of BJP Mumbai, Nayan Shah, Vice President of MCHI CREDAI, Tikam Jain, Director of Lodha Builders, Nimish Ajmera, Director of Ajmera Realty, Vijay Thakkar, MD of DLH were present during the occasion. The initiative was jointly executed with EXFAQ Systems Pvt. Ltd. 

Explaining the dire need for such initiatives Bandish Ajmera, former President MCHI CREDAI said, “No amount of greening effort would be enough for Mumbai. I feel it must be taken up as a responsibility by everyone including residents, students, builders, corporate, retailers, etc. On its part, MCHI CREDAI is committed to improve the green cover of Mumbai and is convincing all members to contribute”    

Speaking on the occasion, Rachit Mundra, Founder Director of EXFAQ Systems, said that “we complete our five years in the business today. There is a deep urge to give it back to the city that has given us so much. We happy to have been a part of the initiative and look forward to support more towards making our Mumbai more sustainable and a better, safer place to live

Sustainability policy is being spelled out by more and more builders. New consumers also do not want to burden the environment while purchasing a safe place to live. The concept of green affordable sustainable housing is gaining currency among all stakeholders, including policy makers and regulators.
